Our new Metaphor Project Strategy 6/04/22

Our new Metaphor Project strategy prioritizes being active on social media over writing blogs. Now that President Biden and Vice President Harris are vigorously pursuing the positive changes our nation so desperately needs, we particularly recommend that you use some of the language we suggest in the following tools on our website, and similar words you might think of yourselves:

During 2020-2022, we have also been very active with a group making freely available  socially relevant videos and radio spots. In 2022, the group will be offering material to help reunite and heal our nation. Among the issues we  plan to cover are climate action, healthcare, racial  equity, fair pay, housing, homelessness, as well as other vital issues of the day. To find out more, check this page for our updated website link coming soon. To see our latest suggestions for frames that respond to fast breaking news, please check our pages on Twitter and The Metaphor Project on Facebook. You may also post a request for a frame on our Facebook page.

We will still publish blogs on topics of major concern from time to time, of course.  But the speed at which events and breaking news happen today, and the shortness of most people’s attention span make this change necessary.

New blogs will still appear in this space in the future, but this notice will recur as they get moved over to the “still featured” list to the left in this section, when they have been up on the site for a while.
